The magnificent Celtic Manor Resort nestled in beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Newport, is the venue for one of sport’s most fascinating contests, as The Ryder Cup arrives on Welsh soil for the first time. The Twenty Ten Course is the first course designed and built for golf’s most prestigious team event.

The par 71 measuring 7493 yards was designed to provide a supreme challenge to the world’s best golfers.There are nine new holes developed along the floor of the glorious Usk Valley and nine remodelled holes from the former Wentwood Hills Championship Course. Enjoy the opportunity to sample the Official Ryder Cup Merchandise on sale in the Tented Village, or take a trip down memory lane by visiting The Ryder Cup Memorabilia Exhibition or, marvel at the skills of golfing trick shot exponent, David Edwards - all in all, an unforgettable experience!

Day 1 - After a morning departure from your local area, we will take you to Stratford-upon-Avon or Bath**, where time in the afternoon will be free for shopping or sightseeing at leisure. Afterwards, we will continue to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2 - After a breakfast, we will depart for the venue of the 2010 Ryder Cup, the magnificent Celtic Manor Resort, on the outskirts of Newport. You will have time to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the practice rounds before the official Opening Ceremony which takes place in the afternoon. After a fabulous day of sporting action, we will begin our journey homeward.

** All departures visit Stratford-upon-Avon except departures from the West country or the South Coast which will visit Bath.
